CPR Courses in Nanaimo
We offer workplace approved CPR courses in Nanaimo, British Columbia for participants that need only CPR certification with no first aid training. These CPR only classes include training in the use of automated external defibrillators (AED). Participants must complete a short multiple choice quiz with a minimum score of 75% to receive a workplace approved certificate that is valid for 3 years. The following is a list of the available CPR courses provided to participants in Nanaimo, B.C.
CPR level “A”
This stand-alone CPR course is the most basic course available to participants. This course takes approximately 4 hours to complete and include training and certification in the use of AED’s. Participants that complete this course will immediately receive a workplace approved certificate that is valid for 3 years. This course teaches participants CPR rescue techniques for adult victims. CPR level “C”
This CPR and AED course is the most popular stand-alone CPR class available in Nanaimo. This course teaches participants CPR rescue techniques for adult victims. Participants that succesfully complete this course will receive a workplace approved certificate that is current for 3 years. The cost of this course is –. CPR level “HCP”
This CPR and AED course is the most detailed and comprehensive CPR course available in Nanaimo. This course, sometimes referred to as CPR level “C” for health care providers, encompasses all of CPR level “C” but adds additional components that are required for health care providers. CPR level “B”
Stand-alone CPR level “B” is not available to participants in Canada. CPR level “B” is only available when partnered with childcare first aid. Level “B” teaches participants rescue techniques for child and infant victims.
